A fantastic piece from Pierre Mayer , based on the ‘Orange Tree’ trick of French magician Robert Houdin.
For those who have seen the movie ‘The Illusionist’ - the piece will be familiar.
The mechanism is fantastic, and the sequence starts with the unadorned orange tree, which then blossoms, bears fruit, an orange opens at the top of the tree and then two butterflies flutter out holding a silk handkerchief (in the original illusion this will have previously been taken from a member of the audience).
The automata will be accompanied by an explanatory CD and booklet.
This is a very limited edition, and has benn sold out.
