Have you ever wanted to send a secret message to someone that only they will know how to read? Or maybe you are looking for a new and secret way to hide your passwords to important computer documents. Or maybe you want to teach your kids a fun and new magic trick that they can have hours of fun with. Then learn how to create invisible messages. This technique can be used in countless ways in your magic shows. It can be done with close up magic, but also on a large scale, as long as you have the supplies. There are a few different techniques for writing and revealing invisible messages. Here are a few to go have fun with. On a plain piece of white paper write your secret message with lemon juice or milk. Vinegar also works but isnt quite as effective. Anyway, using a Q-tip, a fountain pen with no ink, a paint brush, or a feather, write your message using the liquid as your ink on a clean sheet of paper. Allow it to dry and it will dry invisible.

Heres another fun trick that is extremely easy to teach your kids, but will provide hours of entertainment for them and their friends. The first time I showed this to may kids (ages 17,14 & 9), they were so grossed out and blown away that they begged me to teach them. Boys love this one especially because its kind of wacky, and anything to do with mutilating your body, boys seemed to be intrigued byso if you have boysgo have fun with this one.

Just like with the Jesus Illusion, you’ll stare at this picture for 30 seconds and then stare at a blank wall. The wall doesn’t have to be white, but we’ve found it works better with lighter colors. You can also stare at the white space next to the illusion on your computer monitor, or at a blank piece of paper on your desk.

For you to experience the strongest illusion, you’ll want to stare at the center of the red plus sign. Don’t move your head, and really try not to move your eyes at all. We’ve found that a plus sign allows your eyes to move ever so slightly, but you should be able to keep them centered.
